Jazz Up Your Saturday With Rachael Price

It's rare to find such a young person who identifies with and excels at singing jazz the way 23-year-old Rachael Price does. What's even more rare is the fact that so many adults respect her music as much as she respects her craft.

The young jazz vocalist has already recorded three CDs, the first of which she recorded at just 17, and she is hard at work getting her degree in Jazz Studies when she's not busy touring the country. Critics love her, and what's more, jazz greats commend her. To hear what all the fuss is about, listen to "You Go to My Head" on Rachael's MySpace page.

When: Saturday, March 14
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Sheldon Concert Hall
Cost: Tickets are $34 to $38 - Get 'em here

Needless to say, her sound is smoother than a baby's bottom...even if that baby is Miles Davis. Hopefully you'll have time to experience her music this weekend when you're taking a break from your St. Patty's Day festivities.
