My wife is totally gonna freak when she hears about this. There's a remake of the 80's tweeny-bopper flick Girls Just Wanna Have Fun in the works. In case your wife hasn't subjected you to this torture yet, the original starred Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt (think Footloose with dash of Hairspray).
Looks like Miley Cyrus might get the lead for this go round. Please, somebody stop this. Please please please please please please please please please please please please please.
