Spinal Tap is back! However, there is a twist, & there is no date in St. Louis. But, if you feel like trekking to Chicago or Milwaukee, knock yourself out. The following is courtesy of the Associated Press:
Get ready to crank the amps to eleven. Spinal Tap is hitting the road for a 30-date concert tour. According to Billboard.com, the trio has dubbed the trek the "Unwigged & Unplugged" tour, because the men will not wear their costumes from the 1984 movie. Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer will also take the stage as The Folksmen, from the 2003 film "A Mighty Wind." McKean admitted the show will be unique, adding they're, quote, "trying to figure out a way to do 'Big Bottom' on three acoustic guitars." The tour gets underway April 17th in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wraps up May 31st in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tickets go on sale this Friday. For more information, visit www.unwigged.com.
