So I learned a hard lesson yesterday. I bought a new hard drive for my computer in an effort to free up some space on my regular drive. I transferred thousands of raw photographs that I took onto the new hard drive...and had planned to burn them all onto DVD this weekend.
The bad news is that the new hard drive crashed big time, & despite my boyfriend's best efforts to recover the images, they, like Abraham Lincoln, are given to the ages.
So, learn from my mistake...back up the files BEFORE transferring them. I could kick myself & now I have to deal with the loss of years of photography.
