Guys, if you want to make a good impression on your lady, trust me with this advice.  Save the flowers & chocolates for another non-special day.  It will go over better if she's not expecting it.  As for jewelry, save it unless you are proposing this weekend.

Keep it simple & do something creative.  If you get her something or do something that takes a little thought & creativity, you'll get more points than the old-fashioned cliche' riddled stuff.

Take my advice, guys.
