If this is Global Warming...bring it on!

Is this the end of the world? Snow in New Orleans?! I don't really want to get into the man-made global warming debate...is it real...or a sham. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. All I know is that for the first time in 13 years since my sister moved from the St. Louis area to live in New Orleans, she got to see her first snow storm in The Big Easy.

As a school teacher, it was next to impossible for her to keep her kids concentrating on school work, when (for the first time for many of them) it was the first snowfall they had ever seen. So she let them go outside to experience this phenomenon, which for them may be a once in a lifetime event. Their first snowball, their first snowball fight, and building their first snowman! The smile on their faces says it all.

I've learned one thing today, the next time it snows, I'm going to take the time to go outside and build a snowman with my nieces & nephews...just like it's the first time! Enjoy the pictures in the Gallery!
