It feels like 2001 all over again!!

Thank you Winona Ryder for making me feel young again! Just as her conviction for shoplifting from Saks Fifth Avenue was finally slipping to the back of our consciousness, she goes and “misplaces” $125,000 worth of diamond encrusted jewelry that was loaned to her by Bulgari for an event she attended in Spain. To be fair, she claims she put the bracelet and ring into an envelope, and left it with the clerk at the front desk of her hotel (I can’t tell you how often that’s happened to me. I’m constantly leaving my priceless gems with total strangers). Unfortunately there seems to be no record of her leaving these jewels with anybody, even the hotel’s surveillance cameras don’t jibe with her story. Bulgari has asked the police in Madrid to investigate.

By the way, she’s wearing the bracelet and ring in the photo above, taken before the “mysterious” disappearance.
