Rock n Roll Banned in Chicago

It was March 3rd, 1957 that the head of the Chicago Archdiocese banned rock n roll from Catholic schools because of its quote, "tribal rhythms and encouragement to behave in a hedonistic manner."  At this point, there was no stopping rock n roll.  Long live rock!
