Another Kurt Cobain Film

Billboard.com os reporting that Oren Moverman, who wrote the 2009 film “The Messenger,” is in negotiations to direct a film based on the 2001 biography “Heavier Than Heaven:A Biography of Kurt Cobain.”  Universal originally purchasd the life rights of both Kurt Cobain and his widow Courtney Love, but she optioned the film rights to the book, hence the negotiaitons.  It may be a while before anything happens as long as Courtney Love is involoved.  But this looks like it will be more high profile than past films based on the late singer of Nirvana.
