Well-it was quite a Super Bowl--and did you see the ratings ? It ended up being the most watched American TV event ever. It was a great game.

And I think everybody agreed--there were a lot of very good commercials this year. But did it seem to you that the number of commercials was very high ? If you thought that--you were right.

This year's Super Bowl had nearly 48 minutes of commercials. That's a heck of a lot when you consider that a football game has 60 minutes of official playing time.

So--we had 60 minutes of football and just 12 fewer minutes of commercials. 48 minutes is a new record for most ads in a Super Bowl. 3 minutes more than last year's total-which was the previous record.
