A bill that would legalize pot for pleasure has been approved by a committee in the California Assembly.  The measure would regulate and tax marijuana sales in that state.  The bill calls for a $50-per-ounce tax on cannabis sold for recreational use.  The estimated tax revenue generated could be more than $1.4 billion!  Now, here's why this is a big deal.  it's the first time in U.S. history that a committee in a state legislature has voted in favor of a proposal to legalize, tax and regulate marijuana.
