About The Author:

I'm relatively new to the Arch family, but I have been apart of the radio & media industry since the late 80's after graduating from Lewis & Clark Community College in 1985, with a degree in Radio Broadcasting. My wife Holly and I have 3 wonderful little girls: Grace, Mercie and Hope...and yes, those really are their names!

I have had a love for radio since I was quite young; debuting my voice talents in my bedroom, playing records and announcing each song (and driving my parents crazy!). My appreciation for great music was natural, as I grew up listening to my older siblings albums, like The Who, The Beatles, Grand Funk Railroad, and KISS. By my mid-teens, KISS became my band of choice, and I began collecting everything they recorded...I'm quite proud of my collection of rare, limited edition items.

My love for music turned me into a concert enthusiast; taking in artists such as Styx, Def Leppard, Quiet Riot, The Rolling Stones, and of course KISS. Van Halen was my first concert in 1980..for only $8.50!!! Back in those days, I even trained myself to play the drums - even made it into a band for several years - my candy apple red Pearl drumset is still a prized possession.

My on-air experiences have taken me across several formats including Country, Christian & Sportstalk. And now 25yrs after I started this career path, I'm thoroughly enjoying being apart of the top station in St. Louis...106.5 ~ The Arch!

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band just wrapped their 2009 world tour this week in  Buffalo, with a typical "Boss" night, a three-and-a-half hour show. The concert marked the one and only time that Springsteen has ever performed his 1973 debut album Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. in order and in it's entirety, along with a double dose of Christmas playing Merry Christmas Baby, and his infamous Santa Clause is coming to town If you remember his show here in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center, he performed the Born To Run album.  Rumors have been flowing that Springsteen is going to retire from touring...we will have to wait and see but my guess is NOT!

On deck next for Mr. Springsteen is some rest, then he will be going through countless video to put out a DVD from the latest tour. According to his manager Jon Laundau, the concert DVD will be released sometime post Christmas... He also has been working on the long-awaited Darkness On The Edge Of Town box set which are in the final stages now. So if you are a big Boss fan, there is sun on the horizon for something for your collection.
