This song is from what is considered the breakthrough album from tonight’s School of Rock artist.  It was his first top 10 album rising to #2 hit, only to be kept from #1 by Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”.  The first two records were released with limited commercial success, most of it being the UK.  Both records were released on their old label which was sold MCA. He struggled to legally detach himself from MCA, resulting in his bankruptcy. Basically starting over and reestablishing himself, he partnered with industry giant, Jimmy Iovine, who had worked with John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks.  He helped to reinvent the sound for the band and produced the record named as one of Rolling Stone’s best records of all time.
