Got some interesting musical tidbits for the Whatever this morning.
The first being the rumors about Steven Tyler leaving Aerosmith. Joe Perry of the band says as far as he can tell-Steven has quit Aerosmith. Perry says this doesn't spell the end of the band. They will look for a replacement singer.
Elton John is well. He was in the hospital for almost a week. Had the flu. But he's out and reportedly ready to re-join Billy Joel for their Face 2 Face tour.
Robert Zemeckis-the accomplished director of Forest Gump and numerous other movies-has started work on a remake of Yellow Submarine. He's says the digital age will make it-quote-absolutely beyond spectacular. And Zemeckis wants to have Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to voice their characters.
Guitar Wizard Carlos Santana will help George Lopez kick off his new talk show tonight. Lopez Tonight premiers at 10 on TBS. Carlos will then head back to Vegas where he will start a new round of shows at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
And John Fogerty-direct from his successful PBS Live By Request show over the weekend-will appear on The Tonight Show tomorrow night.
