This band formed in England In 1983. They’re a hard rock band heavily influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and the Doors. Like a lot of bands, Alcohol and drug abuse have played a part in tensions within the band and have lead to quite a few breakups over the years. They’re most recent reunion happened in 2005 and whether or not there are future plans for the band is a little in question, due to the fact that the singer stated there may not be anymore material released.
Singer Ian Astbury said recently, "There will be no new album. The format is dead. iTunes destroyed albums. For me, it's much more about if we have a great song we really believe in, then we'll record it and release it."
