When I was a kid, I'd get a real kick out of my mom taking me for a cruise on the Admiral riverboat. When I'd get tired of running around on the top deck, it was off to the game room! Then as a teenager, the Admiral was a great place to take a date and have a dinner cruise while listening to rock n roll from bands like The Younger Brothers. Well, they're not playing the Admiral anymore, or the President Casino for that matter, but The Younger Brothers are gigging at a place even older - the Casa Loma Ballroom. This Saturday (11/7) is the Youngers 40th anniversary of their first appearance on the Admiral, so they'll be sharing memories along with some good old r n r. Doors at 7:30p with music 8:30 - 12:30am. $10 cover. The Casa Loma is at 3354 Iowa at Cherokee. 314 664-8000.
