For The Archive song today, a reminder that this is the weekend to set your clocks back one hour as we move from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. Before you go to bed Saturday night, set your clocks back one hour. It’s also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, flashlights and emergency radios!
If you’re a night owl and stay up late, the hour changes at 2:00am when it suddenly becomes 1:00am again. While this gives you an extra hour to party at home, I’m not sure how the bars and music clubs are handling the extra hour…whether they’re closing at the “new” 2:30am (what would have been 3:30), or closing at the new 3:30. Of course it doesn’t matter if you’re hanging out in Illinois! Consult the bartender at your favorite establishment…and don’t drink and drive!
To remind you of the need to set your clocks back, The Archive today was from a “supergroup” that actually went back in time to form itself! Combining members of Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Uriah Heep in 1982 led to the creation of Asia, with today’s Archive: TIME AGAIN from their debut album!
