On Nov. 1st in New York, Alanis will join an all-star team of friends to help make life better for a tribe in Africa. The Maasai Tribe is in need of help preserving the grasslands that are their home in East Africa; via the charity Maasai Wilderness Conservation. Other teammates include Edward Norton (really it's his project) and David Blaine, among others. The event will span just over 26 miles and hopefully raise tens of thousands of dollar (at the very least).
