Pressing buttons, breaking boundaries, pushing the envelope.  One of many ways to describe this artist.  Even as a child, she was provocative. She was known for her “unusal” behavior in school, particularly of an underwear fetish: She performed cartwheels in the hallways between classes, dangled by her knees from the monkey bars during recess, just to give the boys a little peek.

Usually, when an artist has been around for 30 years, there are ebbs and flows in their career.  Tonight’s School of Rock artist is the exception.

After 30 years, her relevancy remains as she recently made history when her tour became the most successful tour ever by a solo artist.  Playing 85 shows, she drew more than 3.5 million fans in 32 countries grossing $408 million.  It was also the second highest grossing tour of all time.

In September 2009, she released Celebration, her third greatest hits album, with new songs "Celebration" and "Revolver", plus 34 hits spanning her career.
