It was over a year ago when we heard that Patrick Swayze had been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, and my friend Annie told me that was the worse cancer diagnosis there was. Pretty much zero mortality, and he would most likely be gone within 6 months. I am the eternal optimist and I truly believe in miracles. When most people die within 6 months, he lasted a year and a half. An extra year to hold your family close to you. An extra year of sunrises and sunsets. An extra year to do whatever you find important. Maybe he did get a miracle after all. I hate posting pictures of people at their worst, so here is the Patrick that I want to remember. Circa 1991, Point Break.
