So of course this day in rock history was the last day of Woodstock. BUT since we’ve been talking so much about it, I thought we’d dedicate this School of Rock to The Temptations because today would have been one of their birthdays. It would have been Baritone Paul Williams' birthday.
The Temptations were one of the most successful acts to record for Motown Records. Their career lasted 5 decades and many of their songs are used in movies like the one I played for you tonight.
It was used in the movie of the same name starring Macaulay Culkin, "My Girl".
