About The Author:
My Bio? Who am I and what have I done, is that what you want to know? OK let's see...First of all, I'm just a nice girl from St. Louis, born and raised.
I went to SLU thinking I wanted to be a surgeon, then I had to disect a toad in biology and changed my major!
I transferred to Mizzou and started to study Broadcast Journalism at one of the best schools for Journalism in the country (yeah, I like to toot my own horn sometimes)
After I graduated I found out that hard news was really not my THANG. I like Entertainment, Gossip and plain old trashy news! It is so much fun to find out what trouble Paris Hilton has gotten herself into isn't it? I TOTALLY KNOW!
So I came back to St. Louis when all of my friends were getting their new careers started in small markets. I hosted an entertainment TV show in St. Louis for a bit.
THEN Somehow I met someone in the radio biz, I think it was at a bar (see, partying helped my career!) and thought it would be kind of cool to be able to wear jeans to work every day because you can't see me when I'm on the radio! (ha ha!)..
I did traffic reports for a few radio stations, then met someone from the Steve and DC show and eventually became a personality on their show and then the executive producer.
I came with them to 101.1 The River, then it changed to Movin and I got hired back as a weekend DJ, then Movin changed and now I'm on 106.5 The Arch on the weekends.
I am also a Producer at Show Me St. Louis on KSDK during the week!
So I have my foot in the radio door and the TV door. I love both jobs so much and feel very blessed that I get to do both!

It’s Friday so by unwritten rule the lesson plan needs to be easy, at least I wish that’s how all my college professors would have felt…Anywho I’m the teacher tonight so I’ve picked what some call a happy Pop song to take you into your weekend.
This one is by The Bangles, an American all female band who really helped make the 80’s what it was with hits like Walk Like an Egyptian, a song that taught the world more about another culture, don’t you think.
Tonight’s song was so adorable Target used it in some of it’s commercials to promote home furnishings and nothing reminds me more of the weekend then a good shopping trip to Target.
Tonight my song choice is "In your Room" from the Bangles on 106.5 The Arch!
