Good Evening Class I’m your substitute teacher this evening, Ms. Julie T.
Brought to you by: Community Living's Big Kahuna Celebrity Bartender Challenge, July 23rd from 6-10pm at Side Pockets in St. Charles
Tonight’s lesson is about do’n your thang, spelled “T-H-A-N-G”
Sir Paul McCartney has been doing his thang since 1960 and says he’s almost done. He kicked off what he says is his final tour and tonight he’s playing the FIRST concert at the new Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. Of course his show is sold out but the funny part is he played the FIRST concert at The Mets' last stadium but that was back in 1965 and that was back when he was a member of The Beatles (you may have heard of them).
When choosing a Paul song to play tonight I can only refer back to the hours I spend watching television because I just watched the Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd movie “Spies Like Us”, some station just played it but Paul McCartney just happened to write the song for that movie !
