 WHO'S PAYING???

As if all the controversies, speculation, issues, shock & sadness aren't enough for Michael Jackson's family to endure, now there's an investigation into the cost to taxpayers for Michael's Memorial service this past week.

Some thought the bill could be as high as $4million, although some are saying it's more like $1.5million.  Everyone's pointing fingers...but here's the bottom line: L.A. Councilman Dennis Zine wants an EXACT amount - $1.5million or $4million???  He claims he means no disrespect to The Jackson Family; however, Mr. Zine wants to know who approved the initial outlay of cash.

HERE'S A THOUGHT...

Here's a thought to raise the money..follow in the footsteps of the Illinois government and give an EARLY RELEASE FROM JAIL to 10,000 CONVICTED CRIMINALS, which according to IL Govenor Pat Quinn COULD save Illinois about $100million.  If California followed, they'd have the money to pay for Michael Jackson's Memorial, plus a surplus.  Of course they, just like Illinois, California would have to contend with all of those criminals living among law-abidding citizens.  Personally, I think it's a bad idea. 

NOTE TO PAT...

We the people put you in to office...oops!  Wait!  No we didn't.  He got the governorship by default, because Illinois' previous govenor, Rob Blagojevich was removed from office for alledged corruption.  (Blagojevich WAS convicted, but is not in prison - yet.)  And so it goes...on and on.
