Light the Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s evening fundraising walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by blood cancers. Join the St. Louis area walk and help in the quest to raise money for patient services and research. Participants walk along a two mile route, carrying illuminated lanterns—white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of a loved one.
Entertainment for families includes refreshments, snacks, entertainment for the kiddos and live music.
The goal is to raise $1,050,000 million for LLS’ mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. All money raised stays local.
Ameren Illinois President & CEO, Richard J. Mark is serving as corporate walk chair for the second year.
The St. Louis area walk will be hosted at Forest Park’s Central Fields on Saturday, Sept. 27. Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m.
