Vacation time is upon us again! I know that some of you are like me and you enjoy a little book time on your vacay so I wanted to take a minute to make a reading suggestion for your “de-stress curl up with a book time”.
I recently finished the second in Chesterfield author Cindy Lynch’s “Bye for Now” trilogy “Even Willows Weep.”
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed both books. They were the perfect escape that normally I would reserve for my vacation time. I found myself absorbed in the intertwined stories, romances, these books lightened my own anxieties and gave me such a pleasant escape. I would recommend these for your 2017 vacation or relaxation reading! I am eagerly anticipating Cindy’s 3rd installment, and I have it on my must read list. I don’t consider myself a book critic of any kind, but I think we all have our own “Gramp’s Camp” in our past, and I could so relate to going back to those childhood memories even as an adult. I found myself devouring both of these……so very much relating to Callie’s stories of love and loss. You can find out more about the books at Cindy’s Website. Bye for Now and Even Willows Weep are available at Main Street Books in St. Charles, MO and The Novel Neighbor in Webster Groves, MO, as well as Amazon.
One of the surprising benefits of making my 50 book challenge all St. Louis authors is that I have gotten to know this city so much better! I am amazed at all that I have learned about St. Louis in the fiction and non fiction alike! I will update you on some of the others I am reading in the weeks to come. To those of you that are doing the 50 book challenge with me, I would love it if you would share any St. Louis authors/titles with me.
Here is to wonderful, relaxing, energizing, anxiety blasting reading!
