It’s Feline Friday on Christy’s Pet Project! Meet “Thor” – a curious 1 year old male up for adoption with All Paws Rescue. This boy has come a long way from being feral, interacting very well with all humans, children included! He was actually surrounded by children as the house pet at a day care center. He was surrendered after severe injury to his tail, which had to be amputated half way down. Now, Thor has a cute little stump that sticks straight out!
The little smoky black baby with a hint of tabby is “Destiny” – a beautiful 3 month old female born into the All Paws Rescue group after her mother was rescued. She is as sweet as can be, accustomed to being held and just loves to curl up in your arms, quickly dozing off followed by baby kitty purrs. Her hair is so soft, you can barely feel it. She’ll likely mature into a longer haired cat with a fluffy tail. She won’t last long!
UPDATE: Destiny has been adopted. Thor is still looking for his forever home and is temporarily living at the Bridgeton PetSmart in the adoption area. If you would like to learn more about him, contact All Paws Rescue or speak with one of their volunteers in person at their weekly weekend adoption events Saturdays and Sundays at the Bridgeton, MO PetSmart between 10 and 3.
