Christina Aguilera’s 7th album “Lotus” is out today.  When she first released the single “Your Body” in September-Christina said it was the first time she had felt so inspired since 2002′s “Stripped.”  She opted out of working with longtime songwriting partner Linda Perry and instead went with popular hitmakers like Max Martin, Sia and Alex Da Kid.

Def Leppard are setting up shop in Las Vegas.  The band has announced an exclusive nine-show residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-beginning next March.  Dubbed “Viva Hysteria!” the limited engagement will showcase Def Leppard’s multiplatinum 1987 album “Hysteria” as well as other material from the band’s 35-year career.

INXS could be coming to an end. Drummer Jon Farriss told the crowd at the band’s concert in Perth Sunday night that he was “getting teary” because they were playing their last show.  INXS reportedly plans to issue a statement today to formally announce that the group is disbanding.

John Fogerty is now ready to open up about the events in his life.  He has inked a deal to write his autobiography.  Fogerty admits it’s a project he wouldn’t have been able to tackle at an earlier point in his career.  But he says he’s now in a place where he can “look back and reflect” on his past and “share what really happened.” Fogerty’s book is slated for publication in 2014.

Kelly Clarkson and Psy are the latest additions to the lineup for the upcoming American Music Awards.  Other performers include Carly Rae Jepsen-The Wanted-Swizz Beatz featuring Chris Brown and Ludacris-Justin Bieber-Usher-No Doubt-Ke$ha-Pink,-Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj-and Christina Aguilera. Fans can vote for the winners online and the show will air live on ABC on November 18th.

No Mother of the Year award for a 34 year old Springfield MO woman. She’s been arrested–accuses of smoking meth repeatedly with her 13 year old daughter. The mother told police she did it because she knew her daughter would throw a fit is she didn’t get what she wanted.

The man who brings Sesame Street’s popular puppet Elmo to life is fighting to keep his reputation intact and save his job. Kevin Clash has taken a leave of absence from the show to address allegations he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy.

The Presidential election is not the only thing Mitt Romney has lost. Reports say he’s been losing ‘likes’ on his Facebook page at a rate of almost 600 an hour.
