‘Rick on Whatever’–Monday 10/15/12

St Louis’ own Joe Buck learned a lot from his dad-the legendary Jack Buck. Probably one thing he learned was–don’t shy away from a hard day’s work.

I would say what Joe did yesterday qualifies as ‘a hard day’s work’.

First-Joe called the NFL game between the Giants and 49ers on Fox Sports. Then he hopped on one of San Francisco’s famed cable cars and headed to AT&T Park to call the NLCS game between the Cardinals and Giants.

Wow–double duty. I hope he was paid well for that.
